EL CAPITXN Recruits Beauty School Dropout For 'Don't Say Love'
(PR) EL CAPITXN announces his debut, full-length album, WHO KILLED EL?, is set to release on November 6th. The global artist and producer is recognized for having brought the distinctive identities of artists, including BTS, SUGA, Jung Kook and IU, to life through music. Now, EL CAPITXN turns to his own story. Now, he presents "Don't Say Love," a fiery rock-fueled single, featuring Los Angeles rock band Beauty School Dropout.
EL CAPITXN says: "Even after losing my singing voice, I never stopped wanting to express love and sing in my own voice. 'Don't Say Love' captures the frustration of wanting to express something but being unable to-and the desire that remains despite it."
Arriving October 26 at 8 a.m. PT, the music video, directed by Carnivald, unfolds like a gothic fever dream. Shot in stark black and white, theatrical imagery creates a world caught between the sacred and the sinister, the beautiful and the grotesque.
The album, WHO KILLED EL?, will explore the loss of his singing voice and the life that followed through a dramatic body of work spanning rock, orchestral music, gospel, classical music and pop.
EL CAPITXN shares: "For the first time, I've brought together my story in one album, from starting out as a singer, to losing my singing voice, and building a life as a producer. It holds both my longing for what I've lost and my desire to keep taking the stage with my own music."
