Crashing Wayward Streaming 'The Fight Within' EP

Following their 2023 debut album Listen!, Crashing Wayward return with six tracks that showcase the band at their most confident, introspective, and uncompromising. The Fight Within finds the band confronting desperation, violence, disillusionment, and the pressures of modern life through a powerful blend of heavy guitars, theatrical vocals, and driving rhythms.
The EP features Peter Summit (lead vocals), David Harris (lead guitar), Carl Raether (bass), Tucker Jones (guitar), and Jon Gunder (drums), bringing together the band's signature modern-rock sound with a darker and more introspective edge.
The release includes previously unveiled singles 'Holding For Dear Life,' 'Bullet For A Heart,' and 'Going Blind,' alongside three additional tracks, including the EP's most recent single and closing song 'Brass Coffin.'
'Brass Coffin' paints a bleak picture of modern existence, driven by barbed-wire guitars, pushed-to-the-brink vocals, and the haunting refrain, "I'm feeling I'm nothing / Life's living in a brass coffin." The track closes the EP on a particularly powerful note, capturing the desperation and emotional weight that runs throughout The Fight Within.
