Omah Lay And Gunna Team Up For 'Back To Lagos'
(Warner) Omah Lay joins forces with multi-platinum rapper Gunna on "Back To Lagos," a new collaboration featured on Clarity Of Mind Extended, out now via Sire Records / Warner Records.
Expanding his acclaimed sophomore album with four previously unreleased tracks, the deluxe edition finds OMAH pushing deeper into the complexities of success, identity, and inner peace while continuing to expand his sound across borders.
On "BACK TO LAGOS," OMAH reflects on fame, ambition, and the cost of getting everything you once dreamed of. Ominous bass, atmospheric guitar, and haunting choral textures frame his memories of life in the spotlight. GUNNA brings his signature melodic precision and guarded perspective, adding another dimension to a record that explores the tension between worldly success and personal grounding.
The deluxe edition also features "TAKE" with French rap heavyweight Tiakola, a hypnotic exploration of breaking free from material distractions; "KEEP GOING," an uplifting reminder to persevere over understated dance rhythms; and "HOLY GHOST FIRE" produced by Lekaa Beats, a stripped-back reimagining of the album's spiritual centerpiece built around keys, guitar, and violin.
Since its release this spring, CLARITY OF MIND has marked a defining chapter in OMAH's evolution. The album placed 12 songs simultaneously on Billboard's U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, earning him a personal best, and debuted at No. 8 on the World Albums chart as well as No.1 on Spotify's Global Top Albums debut chart.
