Watch Dylan Marlowe's 'Here Lately' Video
(Sony Music Nashville) Dylan Marlowe releases introspective track "Here Lately." Written by Joe Fox, Abram Dean, and Trannie Anderson, the track immerses listeners into a small town where memories of an ex feel inescapable.
With vivid lyrics and stripped-down production from Marlowe and Joe Fox, the mid-tempo track captures the feeling of spinning one's wheels over a past relationship.
"As soon as I heard 'Here Lately' I knew I wanted it on this project," Marlowe shared. "My producer, Joe Fox, wrote it with Abram Dean and Trannie Anderson. I don't cut outside songs a ton but sometimes you hear a track, and it just feels like a song you're meant to be a part of. The song reminded me of some of the Eric Church songs that have influenced me as an artist and songwriter so it just felt right to have it on the album. Can't wait for you all to hear this one."
Marlowe's upcoming sophomore album, Dylan Marlowe, will include track "Here Lately." The album arrives on Nov. 6 - pre-save HERE. With 13 tracks and influences including everything from Sum 41 to Blink 182 to Eric Church, Marlowe looks to enter the next phase of his musical evolution with this album.
