(BT PR) Rita Wilson continues the deeply personal musical journey of her sixth studio album, Sound of a Woman, with the release of a deluxe edition featuring the brand-new song "Stranger With Age"out today.

The expanded album offers another intimate glimpse into Wilson's exploration of womanhood, identity, reinvention and finding freedom in every chapter of life. Listen to Sound Of A Woman Deluxe Edition here.

Wilson has also shared the music video for "Stranger With Age". The clip was shot by Steven Sebring (Patti Smith), featuring scenes filmed at Storm King Art Center in Mountainville, New York.

Originally released in May, Sound of a Woman marked a defining chapter in Wilson's evolution as a singer-songwriter. "Stranger With Age" was produced by Anderson East, while the original Sound of a Woman album was produced by Wilson and nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton). The album was recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A in intimate, live sessions. Wilson and Cobb reunited at Studio A this week for a special performance and Q&A as part of AmericanaFest, in addition to Rita's return performance at Nashville's City Winery.

In November, Rita will embark on an European & UK tour, followed by a U.S. west coast run in December including an anticipated hometown show at LA's famed Troubadour on December 1st (see full itinerary below).

Sound Of A Woman Deluxe Edition explores the many identities, expectations, relationships and turning points that shape a woman's life, ultimately becoming an unfiltered meditation on finding-and using-your voice. With "Stranger With Age," Wilson adds a new dimension to that conversation. Rita explains, "I heard 'Stranger with Age' when Liz Rose and Lori McKenna played it for me in Nashville and I immediately knew I had to record it. There comes a time in your life when you stop caring what other people think and start doing and saying what you want. It's about removing pretense and being unfiltered in a way that feels liberating. If people think you're strange, bring it on!"

The new track arrives as a fitting companion to an album that finds Wilson embracing creativity without limitations or expectations about age. Sound of a Woman has been described by Wilson as a project she could only have written after allowing herself the time and perspective to fully understand what she wanted to say. Her approach reflects a larger belief that reinvention has no expiration date and that some of life's most meaningful discoveries come with experience.

More highlights on the album include the title track, "Sound of a Woman," "Your Mother," "Michelangelo," "Diamonds" and "Jury of One." Critics and fans alike have embraced the project, with People Magazine calling it her "most revealing music yet," saying, "she bares her soul like never before." Variety called it her "most focused release yet," while CNN raved it's "unflinching" and "raw."
