Hear Karley Scott Collins' 'When The Moon Turns Blue'
(Sony Music Nashville) The stars are aligning for rising country singer and songwriter Karley Scott Collins on her new track, "When The Moon Turns Blue," out now.
"Once in a blue moon, I fall in love. And when I do, I write a song about it. This song is about meeting someone in a way that it just feels like everything lined up just for you, and everything that had to go right to end up in the same place and time together went right, and it's meant to be," shared Collins. "This song is the soundtrack to the 'I never go to that bar on that side of town, but that night I did, and I stayed a little longer than I normally would, and suddenly there they were...' love stories."
The swooning track was written by Collins with Chase McDaniel, Chris Mckenna, and Mitch Crego and follows her latest release "Hang It Up." Collins also recently wrapped her opening run with Luke Bryan and even gifted him a hand-painted cooler as an end-of-tour gift.
Collins continues to drop new music following her debut album, Flight Risk, released in late 2025. The project earned acclaim from Billboard, Atwood, Us Weekly, Holler, MusicRow, Country Now, Sweety High, and many more, with Atwood praising, "Flight Risk is an eclectic masterpiece, with all roads leading back to a woman who knows herself and her craft inside and out."
